Buyers are advised to inspect cars in person; this is an opportunity to satisfy yourself as to the condition of each lot prior to the auction. Silverstone Auctions use the Auctioneers Margin Scheme (VAT Notice 718/2) meaning VAT cannot be split out on the invoice and cannot be claimed by UK VAT registered businesses or individuals. Please note that online bidding incurs an additional surcharge of 1% plus VAT. PAYMENTS All payments are due by 5pm on Monday 3rd August 2020. Payment should be made by bank transfer to the following account: Silverstone Auctions Ltd client account, sort code 40-51-62, account number 15541813. Payments made by bank transfer over the weekend will not show in our bank account until the Monday morning. Card and cash payments cannot be accepted. COLLECTION Full payment must be received before any item is available to be released. Vehicles can be collected from our central storage locations between Monday 3rd August and Thursday 6th August. Any motor vehicles not collected by 1pm on Thursday 6th August will be taken to our transport partners storage facility for a fee of £150 plus VAT.
