4 The May Sale Classic Cars & Classic Motorcycles 2021 Key Sale Information VIEWING Viewing of the cars, motorcycles and automobilia is available in person from 12th – 21st May at Stoneleigh Park (CV8 2LZ). Please contact us on 01926 691141 to book your appointment. BUYER’S PREMIUM Like the majority of auctioneers, Silverstone Auctions charge a buyer’s premium. Our buyers premium charge is 12.5% +VAT (15% including VAT) on motor vehicles, 20% +VAT (24% including VAT) on automobilia and watches and 10% +VAT (12% including VAT) on number plates. VAT Some lots may be subject to VAT on the hammer and buyers premium and some may be subject to import VAT on the hammer only. These lots will be clearly marked in the catalogue. All other lots will be sold using the Auctioneers Margin Scheme (VAT Notice 718/2). VAT will not be charged on the hammer price. The VAT on the buyers premium will not be split out on the invoice and cannot be reclaimed by UK VAT registered businesses or individuals. Further duties and VAT may be applicable on exporting lots from the UK. It is the responsibility of the buyer to settle these charges. ONLINE BIDDING Please note that online bidding incurs an additional surcharge of 1% plus VAT of the hammer price. PAYMENTS All payments are due by 5pm on Monday 24th May 2021. Payment should be made by bank transfer where possible. Please note our new bank account details: sort code 20-98-87, account number 30223379. Card payments can be made (in person only) as follows: debit card payments up to £20,000 and credit card up to £5,000. Cash payments are not permitted. COLLECTION Full payment must be received before any item is available to be released. Vehicles can be collected from Stoneleigh Park on Sunday 23rd May between 10am and 3pm and Monday 24th May between 9am and 5pm.
