www.silverstoneauctions.com 59 + buyer’s premium of 15% including VAT @ 20% Motorcycle Sale Saturday 12th February | 2.30 pm local time 1936 Brough Superior SS80 982cc More Details Lot 152 Bid On Lot 152 Registration: BTV 466 Frame Number: 1536 Engine Number: BS/X5 4467 Estimate: £50,000 - £60,000 • Brough Motorcycles were synonymous with high-performance, engineering excellence and quality of finish • In production for around 18 years, Superiors (80 and 100) were generally hand-built to suit a customers requirements • The fit and finish was comparable to a Rolls-Royce and they were the most expensive road-going motorcycles in the world • From 1935, the SS80 was powered by a 982cc Matchless sidevalve V-Twin • This superb 1936 example was originally supplied new to Hooleys Garage in Nottingham • It’s a correct numbers machine as corroborated by a copy of the Works Record Card • Just 2 registered owners since 1982.
