This sleek sports car was affordable, powered by the wonderfully smooth L24 2.4-litre inline-six cylinder engine, competitively priced and strategically positioned to take on the likes of the Mercedes 280SL, Chevrolet Corvette, Porsche 911T, and Jaguar E-Type.
