2 Supercar Fest Sale of Iconic and Classic Cars 2023 Key Sale Information Viewing Viewing is available at Hangar 1, Sywell Aerodrome, Northampton, NN6 0BN as follows: • Friday 19th May from 10am to 5pm • Saturday 20th May from 9.30am until the auctions commence • Sunday 21st May from 9.30am to 5pm Auctions All lots will be auctioned from Hangar 1 on Saturday 20th May 2023. • Automobilia from 11am • Iconic, Classic and Supercars from 1pm The auctioneer will aim to sell approximately 60 automobilia lots per hour, and 25 vehicles per hour. Event tickets To gain access to the auction, you will require a ticket to Supercar Fest. Tickets are available at www.supercarfest.co.uk . Buyer’s premium Like the majority of auctioneers, Silverstone Auctions charge a buyer’s premium. Our buyer’s premium charge for motor vehicles is 12.5% plus VAT (15% including VAT) on the first £300,000 of the hammer price and 10% plus VAT (12% including VAT) on the balance thereafter. Automobilia is 20% plus VAT (24% including VAT) and number plates are 10% plus VAT (12% including VAT). VAT Some lots may be subject to UK VAT or import VAT on the hammer price and buyer’s premium. These lots will be clearly marked in the catalogue. All other lots will be sold using the Auctioneers Margin Scheme (VAT Notice 718/2). VAT will not be charged on the hammer price. The VAT on the buyer’s premium will not be split out on the invoice and cannot be reclaimed by UK VAT-registered businesses or individuals. Further duties and VAT may be applicable on exporting lots from the UK. It is the responsibility of the buyer to settle these charges. Payments All payments are due by 5pm on Monday 22nd May. Payment should be made by bank transfer where possible. Please note our bank account details: sort code 20-98-87, account number 30223379. Card payments can be made (in person only) as follows: debit card payments up to £20,000 and credit card up to £5,000. Cash payments are not permitted. Collection Vehicles All cars must be removed from the venue between 9am and 2pm on Monday 22nd May. Full payment must be received before any items are available to be released. Any cars not collected by 2pm on Monday 22nd May will be taken to EM Rogers storage facility in Northampton for a fee of £175 + VAT. Storage will be charged at £10 + VAT per day from the Monday onwards. A member of the administration team will contact you to confirm your transport plans after the auction. If we do not hear back from you by 9am on Monday 22nd May, we will arrange for our transport partner to collect the vehicle on your behalf. Automobilia Automobilia can be collected from the auction hall on the day of the auction, between 9.30am and 5pm on Sunday 21st May or on Monday 22nd May between 9am and midday by prior appointment. After this time, it can be collected from our offices in Warwickshire or shipped to you at your expense.
