It was purchased by our vendor in May 2007 and used as his daily driver for a year and, at the time, the only upgrades fitted were the brakes. In order to further improve the whole driving experience, the well respected Jaguar specialists, Marina Garage of Bournemouth, were tasked by him to carry out a host of improvements in December 2010. Both the engine and gearbox were completely stripped and rebuilt and a complete stainless exhaust system fitted. Essential for any Mk2, a power steering kit was fitted and a Jaguar air-conditioning kit was fitted and was still blowing ice cold on our recent photoshoot. In addition, a Harvey Bailey Handling Kit was fitted and now this ‘loaded’ Opalescent Silver Blue Mk2 sits four square on Dunlop Aquajet tyres.
