2 Race Retro Classic and Competition Car Sale 2023 Key Sale Information Please note – admission to the auction hall is by catalogue only. Catalogues will be available to purchase at the catalogue desk for £10, each catalogue admits two. Viewing Viewing is available at Hall 1, Stoneleigh Park, Kenilworth, CV8 2LG as follows: • Friday 24th February from 9.30am to 5.30pm • Saturday 25th February from 9.30am to 5.30pm Auctions Friday 24th February: Competition Cars – lots 301 - 349 from 2pm Saturday 25th February: Automobilia – lots 101 - 242 from 10am Collectors’ Cars – lots 401 – 518 from 12 noon. The auctioneer will aim to sell approximately 80 lots of automobilia per hour, and 25 vehicles. Event tickets You do not require a ticket for the Race Retro Show if you are solely attending to view or bid at the auction. If you would like to attend the Show, you can purchase tickets from www.raceretro.seetickets.com/content/ticket-options and use the code SILVERSTONEAUC to get discounted entry to the event. Buyer’s premium Like the majority of auctioneers, Silverstone Auctions charge a buyer’s premium. Our buyer’s premium charge for motor cars is 12.5% + VAT (15% including VAT) on the first £300,000 of the hammer price and 10% + VAT (12% including VAT) on the balance thereafter. Automobilia is 20% + VAT (24% including VAT) and number plates are 10% + VAT (12% including VAT). VAT Some lots may be subject to UK VAT or import VAT on the hammer and buyer’s premium. These lots will be clearly marked in the catalogue. All other lots will be sold using the Auctioneers Margin Scheme (VAT Notice 718/2). VAT will not be charged on the hammer price. The VAT on the buyer’s premium will not be split out on the invoice and cannot be reclaimed by UK VAT-registered businesses or individuals. Further duties and VAT may be applicable on exporting lots from the UK. It is the responsibility of the buyer to settle these charges. Payments All payments are due by 5pm on Monday 27th February. Payment should be made by bank transfer where possible. Please note our bank account details: sort code 20-98-87, account number 30223379. Card payments can be made (in person only) as follows: debit card payments up to £20,000 and credit card up to £5,000. Cash payments are not permitted. Collection Motor Cars Please note that due to venue restrictions no vehicles can be moved until 9am on Monday 27th February and we need to be clear of the venue by 12 noon. Full payment must be received before any items are available to be released. Our transport partner, EM Rogers, can assist with collection and delivery. Any cars not collected by 12 noon on Monday 27th February will be taken to EM Rogers storage facility in Northampton for a fee of £175 + VAT. Storage will be charged at £10 + VAT per day from the Monday onwards. A member of the administration team will contact you to confirm your transport plans after the auction. If we do not hear back from you by 5pm on Sunday 26th February, we will arrange for our transport partner to collect the vehicle on your behalf. Automobilia Automobilia can be collected from the auction hall on the Sunday or on Monday morning between 9am and 12 noon by prior arrangement. After this time, it can be collected from our offices in Warwickshire or shipped to you at your expense.
