Race Retro Classic & Competition Car Sale 2023 24th - 25th February 2023

1 Welcome Welcome to Race Retro, Europe’s number one historic motorsport show! We are delighted to be here for our 11th year as the shows official auction partner presenting a superb catalogue of collectors’, classic and competition cars. This year we have divided the Auction into two dedicated days: the Competition Cars will be offered on Friday 24th from 2pm. Automobilia will start at 10am on Saturday 25th February followed by Collectors’ and Classic Cars from 12 noon. Some of the lots offered in this Auction are truly unique. In the Competition Car section we have the late Colin McRae’s 1998 Subaru Impreza S5 WRC - ‘P2 WRC’ which debuted at the 1997 Monte Carlo Rally. Whilst on Saturday we are offering; Rowan Atkinson’s 1993 Lancia HF Integrale Evo II, two cars with Royal connections - a 1942 Ford GPW Jeep used to transport His Majesty King George VI and a 2013 Bentley Mulsanne which was a Bentley Press and Special Operations vehicle that was also used for occasional Royal Household duties. And last, but by no means least a magnificent private collection of seven Lotus Elans – the best we have ever seen. All lots will be presented for viewing from 9.30am on both the Friday and Saturday morning until the auctions commence. This is your opportunity to inspect the vehicles and view the history files that are supplied. If you have any questions, the Silverstone Auctions Team will be on hand to assist.
