Delivery miles (5) only • Finished in a distinctive Circuito Grey matte paint with ‘NRING’ badges, carbon fibre roof, side skirts and mirror caps • Carbon-ceramic brakes, Sparco carbon fibre seats and interior trim and a Mopar-branded gear lever • Top speed of 191mph and 0-60 in 3.9 seconds, helping propel the car to its record-setting saloon lap time at the Nürburgring late last year of 7 minutes 32 seconds • Rarity always has its followers and we suspect that these limited-edition Alfas will remain sought-after Seven minutes 32 seconds. The time it took this incredible saloon car to navigate the world’s most notorious circuit, Nürburgring Nordschleife. That time broke the current saloon car record giving Alfa instant bragging rights amongst manufacturers of high-performance saloons and the subsequent International publicity attached to the limited-edition Nurburgring Giulia rendered it an instant cult-car. With no small input from their Marketing Department, Alfa decided to build 108 examples to correspond with the number of years Alfa Romeo has been making cars so it was always going to be a rare car, even rarer in right-hand drive with only 12 earmarked for the UK. Over the standard road car, the Nürburgring edition boasted a plethora of upgrades and extras, justifying the original retail price of £82,000. It is powered by Alfa Romeo’s famous 510hp 2.9-litre 6 V 90°-cylinder Bi-Turbo engine which, thanks to the extensive use of aluminium and carbon fibre, is remarkably light and retardation is courtesy of bespoke carbon-ceramic brake discs. Styling was naturally very important in the creation of this limited-edition car. Designed to please the true enthusiast, and as Alfa Romeo claim “inspired by the category record set on the legendary German track”, continuing that it is “destined to become a true collector item”. Motorsport cues abound with extensive amounts of carbon fibre on the bonnet, sunroof, rear spoiler, side skirts, front V-grille, and mirror caps. The Giulia Nürburgring edition is equipped with all the innovative Alfa Romeo infotainment systems, from 3D Navigator maps, an 8.8” display, Harman Kardon sound theatre and Apple CarPlay for syncing with mobile phones. This car has covered less than five delivery miles and is finished in a distinctive Circuito Grey matte paint with NRING badges and sports bright red calipers peeking out from Clover-Leaf alloys finished in eggshell black. It was purchased from Alfa Romeo UK and has been kept with them by the vendor ever since. It, therefore, comes with everything it was originally supplied with, from the scale model of the car, the gloves and race suit, to the book packs and manuals. A superb opportunity here, to own what is set to become one of Alfa Romeo’s historic cars. 2019 Alfa Romeo Giulia Nürburgring LOT 256 More Images Lot 256 Bid On Lot 256
