The collection’s owner and creator scoured the UK for many years to unearth the very best Sunburst Red RSi he could find, and after many years of searching, this particular example was found on his door step in the South Wales Valleys. Inevitably collections evolve and now the time has come for the next custodian to enjoy what is undoubtedly one of the very best RSi’s in existence. The car was first registered on 14/10/1983 and is one of only 560 UK cars in Sunburst Red. It’s accompanied by a box file full of history including every MOT from14/10/1986 at 8,057 miles through to 18/02/2019 at 34,646 miles. It remained in storage from 2004 until 2010 but, even so, it’s only covered 700 miles in the last 16 years. Apart from the MOT’s and dozens if not hundreds of invoices for servicing and minor maintenance, the file also contains log books, old tax discs, an 11-page Parts List, RS1600I identification sheet, RS1600i buyers guide, the service book and a spare set of keys. As you will see from the photographs the car is in amazing condition with a deep shine, good decals, a mint interior and a showroom-quality engine bay. Quite frankly, it’s the best RSi we have ever seen. In accordance with his normal practice, our vendor will ensure that the car is inspected, fully serviced, freshly MOT’d and road-tested prior to the sale. 1983 Ford Escort RS 1600i LOT 210 More Images Lot 210 Bid On Lot 210
