8 The Devitt MCN Festival of Motorcycling Sale 2023 Lot 305 c.1955 Rotrax JAP Speedway Bike 500cc • Part of the late Dennis Bagshaw Collection • Rotrax started producing speedway frames from their Southampton premises in 1952 • Using Reynolds 531 tubing, these frames proved to be the best available at the time • This c.1955 example appears to be either original or an older restoration in good overall condition • Fitted with a JAP 4-stud, single-cylinder 500cc engine • Not used for some time so will require some recommissioning before use • Offered at No Reserve Unrestored 500cc Rotrax JAP Speedway bike.
