2 The Devitt MCN Festival of Motorcycling Sale 2023 Key Sale Information Please note - admission to the auction is by catalogue only. Catalogues will be available to purchase at the catalogue desk for £5 and each catalogue admits two. Viewing Viewing is available at the MCN Festival of Motorcycling, held at the East of England Arena, Peterborough, PE2 6XE, from 9am - 6pm on Saturday 13th May and from 9am until the auction begins on Sunday 14th May. Auction The auction will take place from 11am on Sunday 14th May. Event tickets The auction is part of the Devitt MCN Festival of Motorcycling which is a ticketed event. Admission to the event is not included in the price of the catalogue. Tickets can be purchased via the following link: www.mcnfestival.com . Buyer’s premium Like the majority of auctioneers, Silverstone Auctions charge a buyer’s premium. Our buyer’s premium charge is 12.5% +VAT (15% including VAT) on the first £300,000 of the hammer price and 10% +VAT (12% including VAT) on the balance thereafter. VAT Some lots may be subject to UK VAT or import duty on the hammer and buyer’s premium. These lots will be clearly marked in the catalogue. All other lots will be sold using the Auctioneers Margin Scheme (VAT Notice 718/2). VAT will not be charged on the hammer price. The VAT on the buyer’s premium will not be split out on the invoice and cannot be reclaimed by UK VAT registered businesses or individuals. Further duties and VAT may be applicable on exporting lots from the UK. It is the responsibility of the buyer to research and settle these charges. Payments All payments are due by 5pm on Monday 15th May. Please note we need to clear of the venue by 12pm on the Monday therefore any motorcycles not paid for by this time will be taken to our storage partners facility in Northampton. Payment should be made by bank transfer where possible to Silverstone Auctions Limited, sort code 20-98-87, account number 30223379. Card payments can be made (in person only) as follows: debit card payments up to £20,000 and credit card up to £5,000. Cash payments are not permitted. Collection Please note that due to venue restrictions we need to be clear of the venue by 12pm on Monday 15th May. Full payment must be received before any item is available to be released. Motorcycles can be collected from The Atrium, East of England Arena, Peterborough, PE2 6XE on Monday 15th May between 8am and 12pm. Our motorcycle transport partner, Moving Motorcycles, can assist with collection and delivery.
