12 The Devitt MCN Festival of Motorcycling Sale 2023 Lot 313 c.1958 Rotrax JAP Speedway Bike 500cc • Part of the late Dennis Bagshaw Collection • Rotrax started producing speedway frames from their Southampton premises in 1952 • Using Reynolds 531 tubing, these frames proved to be the best available at the time • This c.1958 example appears to be an older restoration in good overall condition • Fitted with a JAP four-stud, single-cylinder 500cc engine • Not used for some time so will require some recommissioning before use • Offered with No Reserve Restored Rotrax 500cc JAP Speedway bike.
