Furthermore, we will have a dedicated viewing day at the auction venue (Sywell Aerodrome, NN6 0BN) on Friday 4th June between the hours of 9am – 5pm. EVENT TICKETS The auction is part of the National Ferrari Owners Day event which is a ticketed event. Please contact us if you would like to attend in person; as an event partner we can provide you with the applicable wristband for entry. BUYER’S PREMIUM Like the majority of auctioneers, Silverstone Auctions charge a buyer’s premium. Our buyers premium charge is 12.5% +VAT (15% including VAT) on motor vehicles, 20% +VAT (24% including VAT) on automobilia and watches and 10% +VAT (12% including VAT) on number plates. VAT Some lots may be subject to VAT on the hammer and buyers premium and some may be subject to import VAT on the hammer only. These lots will be clearly marked in the catalogue. All other lots will be sold using the Auctioneers Margin Scheme (VAT Notice 718/2). VAT will not be charged on the hammer price. The VAT on the buyers premium will not be split out on the invoice and cannot be reclaimed by UK VAT registered businesses or individuals. Further duties and VAT may be applicable on exporting lots from the UK. It is the responsibility of the buyer to settle these charges. ONLINE BIDDING Please note that online bidding incurs an additional surcharge of 1% plus VAT of the hammer price. PAYMENTS All payments are due by 5pm on Monday 7th June 2021. However, we need to clear of the venue by 3pm on Sunday 6th June, therefore any cars not paid for by this time will be taken to EM Rogers. Payment should be made by bank transfer where possible. Card payments can be made (in person only) as follows: debit card payments up to £20,000 and credit card up to £5,000. Cash payments are not permitted.
