Original book pack, stamped service book, supporting invoices, spare keys, tools and MOTs • Stunning example of the fast and comfortable 575 incorporating the latest F1 technology of the period In 1996, Ferrari introduced the 550 Maranello in a bid to revive their fabled line of grand tourers and it quickly proved to be an overwhelming success. Six years later, in 2002, the 575M Maranello appeared bringing with it a host of healthy updates adding additional potency to an already incredible car. Increasing the displacement of the V-12 by 250 cubic centimetres to 5748 cc, resulted in 508bhp and 434lb/ft of torque, 0-60 in 4.2 seconds and an advertised top speed of 202 mph. The front end was slightly revised with new headlights, a redesigned air intake and front spoiler, and the weight distribution was improved to 50/50. A choice of six-speed transmissions was available – a conventional manual gearbox and, for the first time on a Ferrari V12, Magneti Marelli’s semi-automatic (electro-hydraulic manual) ‘F1’ gearbox. Further mechanical improvements included bigger brakes and an adaptive suspension set-up (the four independent suspension units are also controlled by the gearbox, to minimise pitch throughout the 200-milliseconds gear shift time). Inside, the interior was modernised and refreshed with an updated dashboard, trim and steering wheel. Only 158 575Ms were delivered to the UK with the F1 gearbox and 64 with the manual box making a UK-supplied example still rather an exclusive car to own. This 2004 Ferrari 575M F1 in UK, right-hand drive specification was ordered through H.R Owen Sports Cars in Kensington and was subsequently collected from the Ferrari factory in Modena on the ninth of November that year. Options ticked included Nero Daytona Metallic paintwork (black), Nero Hide with contrasting Grigio Chiaro stitching, F1 paddle shift transmission, the Fiorano handling package and Scuderia Ferrari wing shields. Other features on this example include a 250 GTO-style front grille, Giallo brake callipers, newly installed Giallo seatbelt webbings. The car is accompanied by its original tool kit, spare keys, seat covers, and book packs including the service book which is stamped up-to-date with the last visit to a Ferrari main agent dated 26th June 2019 at 36,529 miles. The history folder is thick with supporting invoices and past MOT Certificates verifying the current odometer reading. On offer from a knowledgeable private Ferrari collector, this lovely car is in outstanding condition. Factory finished in a very stylish colour combination, with sensible mileage and a comprehensive service record, this is a great opportunity to acquire a usable and versatile Ferrari GT offered at an appealing guide that could well turn out to be a rather shrewd investment. 2004 Ferrari 575M Maranello F1 Fiorano More Images Lot 311 Bid On Lot 311
