In the case of the 599 GTB, only 30 cars worldwide were ordered with manual transmission, ten of which were delivered new to Europe. Silverstone Auctions are delighted to offer this extremely rare and desirable left-hand drive 599 GTB, which is one of the ten European examples fitted with the desirable manual transmission. Originally delivered new to Switzerland, this 599 was bought by our vendor, the second owner, from that country and then brought home to the UK in February 2018 and promptly UK-registered. It has formed part of his significant Ferrari collection ever since. Just 19,000 km (11,800 miles) have been covered since being delivered in 2008 and, as you can imagine for such a special car, it has been regularly cared for and looked after over that period.
