44 The Shuttleworth Motorcycle Sale 2023 Charity Lot Lot 571 1949 Harley-Davidson WLC 45 • Charity Lot: Harley-Davidson WLC 45 being sold on behalf of the Look Good Feel Better Charity at No Reserve. • Developed prior to WWII and used extensively across Europe as a military vehicle • ’Flat Head’ 750cc side-valve engine proved to be very reliable and easily maintained • Civilian examples continued to be produced well after the end of the war • This older restoration WLC has been used over the last few years as a display bike in Kiehl’s flagship store in London • Donated to the Look Good Feel Better cancer charity and now at auction with No Reserve • Complete with photos of the restoration along with copies of the publicity shots and copy of the Dutch import and export paperwork • Will need recommissioning before road use • Please note, if the car is registered in the UK, the buyer will be responsible for completing a NOVA declaration within 14 days and paying the import VAT at 5% on the hammer price plus buyer’s premium.
