2 The Shuttleworth Motorcycle Sale 2023 Key Sale Information Please note - admission to the auction is by catalogue only. Catalogues will be available to purchase at the catalogue desk for £5 and each catalogue admits two. Viewing Viewing is available at the Old Warden Aerodrome, Biggleswade, Bedfordshire, SG18 9EP, from 10am-5pm on Saturday 29th July and from 10am until the auction begins. Auction The auction will take place from 11am on Sunday 30th July. Buyer’s premium Like the majority of auctioneers, Silverstone Auctions charge a buyer’s premium. Our buyer’s premium charge is 12.5% plus VAT (15% including VAT) on the first £300,000 of the hammer price and 10% plus VAT (12% including VAT) on the balance thereafter. VAT Some lots may be subject to UK VAT or import duty on the hammer and buyer’s premium. These lots will be clearly marked in the catalogue. All other lots will be sold using the Auctioneers Margin Scheme (VAT Notice 718/2). VAT will not be charged on the hammer price. The VAT on the buyer’s premium will not be split out on the invoice and cannot be reclaimed by UK VAT registered businesses or individuals. Further duties and VAT may be applicable on exporting lots from the UK. It is the responsibility of the buyer to research and settle these charges. Payments All payments are due by 5pm on Monday 31st July. Payment should be made by bank transfer where possible to Silverstone Auctions Limited, sort code 20-98-87, account number 30223379. Card payments can be made (in person only) as follows: debit card payments up to £20,000 and credit card up to £5,000. We do not accept AMEX. Cash payments are not permitted. Collection Please note that due to restrictions we need to be clear of the venue by 2pm on Monday 31st July. Full payment must be received before any item is available to be released. Motorcycles can be collected from the Old Warden Aerodrome, Biggleswade, Bedfordshire, SG18 9EP on Monday 31st July between 10am and 2pm. Our motorcycle transport partner, Moving Motorcycles, can assist with collection and delivery.
